This website is run by the Harvard Boxing Club, a student-run organization at Harvard College (“the club,” “we”). By using it you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About the club and Harvard

The club is a student-run organization at Harvard College. This site is created and maintained by the club's student members. It is not an official website of Harvard University, and what is published here does not necessarily reflect the views of Harvard University or Harvard College.

The Harvard College name and/or shield are trademarks of the President and Fellows of Harvard College and are used by permission of Harvard University.

Information on this site

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but it is provided for general information only. Practice times, locations, events, leadership and other details can change without notice. Check with the club before relying on them. Nothing here is medical, training or safety advice, and it does not replace the requirements and instructions of Harvard, its athletics and club sports offices, or the club's coaches. Boxing involves a risk of injury; take part only as those requirements allow.

Content and ownership

The text, photographs, logos and design of this site belong to the club or are used with permission of their owners, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view the site and share links to it. Please do not copy, republish, sell or modify our content without our written permission, other than brief quotations with credit and as the law allows.

If you own something on this site and believe it should be credited differently or removed, email harvardboxingclub@gmail.com and we will look into it promptly.

Using the site

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the site;
• send spam, advertising, threats, harassment or anything abusive or misleading through the contact form;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to submit forms or to collect content or information from the site in bulk;
• try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its administration area or its data, or interfere with how it works.

We may block access or remove messages that break these rules.

Contact form messages

When you send a message you confirm that the details you give are your own and accurate. We will use your message to respond to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Sending a message does not create any membership, agreement or obligation between you and the club, and we cannot promise a reply to every message.

Donations and other sites

The donation page links to Harvard's giving portal. Gifts are made, processed and receipted by Harvard University, not by this website or the club, and are governed by the terms of that portal. The site also links to other websites, such as social media, press coverage and merchandise. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the club, its officers and members, and Harvard University are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time by posting the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
